Nights in White Satin

Let’s just take a moment to bask in the glory of all the mustached, frilled, and buttoned glory that was the Moody Blues!

I’ve always loved the song “Nights in White Satin,” mostly because of the beautiful build up of the vocals and keyboard during the chorus. Some songs just have that moment that gives you the chills. Those little moments are what I want to capture myself.

It also helps that the song is mostly played with the Em chord alternating to the D. If there’s any way a song can immediately get my attention, it’s to use the Em or Am chords.

So I made an attempt to do this great song some justice. Hopefully I did. Almost every song I record is done in one day. That probably shows hah. And I intend on taking my favorite songs and polishing them into some kind of EP in the near future.

If you liked the cover or maybe you would like to hear my take on another classic song, leave me a comment. You can catch me pretty easily on Gab as well. (@BullittStrong)
